WHAT IS SILKSCREEN ?

1024px-Silketrykk.svg.png

When comes to Silkscreen, we are one of the top silkscreen printing services provider in Malaysia.  Silkscreen printing in Malaysia has been existed back in 70s and it is now still widely used by the industry in Malaysia.

Silkscreen Printing is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in area made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil.

A) Ink
B) Squeegee
C) Image
D) Photo Emulsion
E)  Screen / Block

F) Image printed on the shirt

In this photo, ink is pushed using squeegee over the mesh where only
part of the mesh is made  permeable and printed on the t shirt at one colour
at a time.

WHY SILKSCREEN ?

  • COST EFFECTIVE FOR BIG ORDER

  • DURABILITY

Silkscreen Printing require the Block , as the order quantity increases, the cost to build to block relatively become cheaper. Hence, the unit price per shirt will be cheaper.

One of the main advantage of silkscreen printing is the vivid results that it created.  On garments, the heat-dried ink is strong enough to handle repeated garment wash without fading or cracking

  • VERSATILITY

Silkscreen Printing can accommodate a wide range of different materials from t shirt to banner to bags with consistent results despite of different surface printed.

  • VIBRANT COLOUR

The fact that silkscreen printing can only be performed one colour at a time, this make each of the colour become outstanding which other printing method is not able to compete.
